What is VetBiz Activate?
Whether you have an idea for a small business or just recently began and need to establish your foundation, this program will move your forward. This class will provide formal instruction by industry leaders, guest speakers, and individual coaching.
Topics will include:
-Cultivating a business mindset
-Financial management for a small business
-Understanding your target customer
-Understanding the types of organizations
-The formal business planning process
Learning Outcomes:
- How planning can mitigate risk and maximize potential
-Identifying the difference between a sustainable business and an idea
-Recognizing resources and best practices to create your BAIL-IT team
-Cash flow management principles
-An actionable plan to move forward with a sound mind and resources to support you along the way
Course Details
Cohort Dates: Weekly virtual classes will be held via zoom from 6-8pm on every Thursday. Classes Start June 1st, 2023 – June 29th, 2023
-Prerequisites: Complete VetBiz Activate application and Edward Lowe Business Idea Quiz.
