SLUstart I-Corp Next Cohort

SLUStart I-Corps is a program managed by the Research Innovation Group in Saint Louis University’s Office of the Vice President for Research. It is designed to help University researchers as well as community inventors and innovators extend their focus beyond academia and the laboratory.

Steve Epner and Ken Herold are eager to facilitate your entrepreneurial journey as you take an idea and turn it into a business.

If you have not previously filled out the application, your first step will be to sign up for the SLUStart I-Corps program through the following link: Submit your SLUStart application

For information regarding the SLUStart and I-Corps programs, please refer to the following link: SLUStart I-Corps program

Our first session for the next Cohort will take place on Saturday, November 9th at the Collab Space at 4220 Duncan from 8:00 am – 12:00 pm.  The second session will be held on Saturday, November 23rd (same time and location).  In between these sessions, your team will execute a minimum of 5 customer discovery sessions.

If you are not able to attend the first session on November 9th, please contact us.

Collab Space at Cortex

Upon signing up for the program, we will send out a meeting request to block out your calendars. If you would like to include others from your team in the email notifications, please forward their email addresses.

Many of you have reached out inquiring if you need to prepare or bring anything. Please note, these are work sessions therefore, all you need are your ideas and participation.  You will be working as teams and groups on your idea.  We will provide a series of index cards to help you through the process.  You will not need a laptop.

Please feel free to reach out to Ken if you have questions, or concerns regarding SLUStart or want to discuss your idea or the program.
